BORDER CROSSINGS NOMINATED FOR MAGAZINE OF THE YEAR!

Border Crossings has again been nominated in multiple categories for the Canadian National and Western Magazine Awards.
Shawn Kuruneru’s drawings, featured as Art Pages in Issue 104, have been nominated in the "Illustration" category for the National Awards.
Two nominations were received for the Western Magazine awards:
Border Crossings’ Editor, Meeka Walsh, has been nominated in the "Regular Column or Department" category for Bordernotes.
And, last, but not least, Border Crossings has been nominated as Magazine of the Year - Manitoba.
National winners will be announced at the Awards Gala on June 6 in Toronto.
Western winners will be announced at the Gala Dinner & Awards event in Richmond, BC on June 20.
Border Crossings has received, to date, a total of 149 nominations, and 58 Gold and Silver Awards from the Western and National Magazine Awards.
