Border Crossings’ 26-piece collection, which features artwork from some of Winnipeg’s most accomplished artists, has been acquired by the Winnipeg Art Gallery.

The collection was first published in the Animal Issue (Vol 25 No.1 Issue 97), in March 2006, which was followed by the publication of the Winnipeg Alphabestiary book in September 2008, and now the Winnipeg Alphabestiary is part of the WAG’s permanent collection.

The WAG notes that the Winnipeg Alphabestiary collection will be on display starting September 1, 2011 and will tour.
